Outside of filmmaking, Owen is a founding member of The Farmlink Project.
Born out of the pandemic, The Farmlink Project is a student-led movement that has delivered over 100 million pounds of nutritious food to communities facing hunger. The org has been awarded The Congressional Medal of Honor Society's Citizen Award and The Jefferson Award for Public Service.
